Tesla Arcade

How to Play Tesla Arcade Games

Tesla Arcade turns your parked Model 3, Model Y, Model S, or Model X into a gaming cabin. This guide walks you through every step: launching the Arcade tile, pairing a controller, picking a game, and choosing between touchscreen and controller play.

Controller mode

Pick your controls

Toggle the panels to compare touchscreen and controller play. Every Arcade game lists the modes it supports on its tile.

Most Arcade games support direct tap and swipe input on the center screen. You can launch and play without pairing any accessory.

Step-by-step

Follow the seven steps below from Park to launch. Stop once the game you picked is on screen.

Menu
Put the car in Park

Tesla Arcade is locked out while the car is in Drive or Neutral, so Park is the gateway step. Tap the brake once if the touchscreen still asks for confirmation.

Menu
Open the Arcade tile

From the in-cabin touchscreen, tap the app launcher and choose the Arcade tile. The tile only shows while parked, so missing it usually means the parking brake indicator at the top is not yet engaged.

Menu
Pair a Bluetooth controller (optional)

Hold the pairing button on your Xbox, PlayStation, or Logitech gamepad until the LED flashes. Open Bluetooth settings on the touchscreen, pick the controller from the list, and wait for the on-screen pairing confirmation.

Menu
Pick a game

Browse the Arcade library and tap any cover art to launch. Most titles open immediately; a few drop you into a short splash screen before the main menu.

Touchscreen
Use touchscreen mode

Tap and swipe directly on the screen to interact. Most puzzle, party, and arcade titles ship with full on-screen controls, so you can play without pairing any accessory at all.

Controller
Use controller mode

After pairing, your gamepad handles movement, aiming, and most menu navigation. Keep the touchscreen available for typing and selecting, and expect to use both the pad and the screen together.

Menu
Save and exit

Most titles save progress locally and to your Tesla account automatically. Tap the Arcade menu icon and choose Exit to return to the launcher, or shift out of Park to end the session when you drive away.

Troubleshooting

If a launch fails or a controller refuses to pair, work through these checks before restarting the touchscreen.

Controller will not pair

Confirm the gamepad is in pairing mode (LED flashing rapidly) and that no other device is already connected. Reboot the touchscreen from settings and retry from a fresh Bluetooth device list.

Game will not launch

Some Arcade titles require a paired controller even when you plan to play on the touchscreen. If a launch fails, pair any Xbox or PlayStation gamepad, return to the library, and tap the tile again.

Bluetooth input lag

Wireless interference and a low controller battery both cause lag. Move phones away from the touchscreen, swap in fresh batteries, or step closer to the car to keep the Bluetooth link clean.
